Glen Thomas - Director

Glen was born in the small island of Grand Cayman, in the West Indies and spent his early childhood in Kenya and Liberia, Africa. Glens family moved to Wales for his primary and secondary education.
Glen graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1995 and after working with international Architects Holder Mathias Architects, rapidly set up a design practice in London.
During his 6 years in their South Kensington Studio, Glen Thomas and partner Steven Georgiou-Currie, worked on many residential and commercial projects with clients including David Bowie, Elton John and Donna Karan.
In 2001, Glen returned to his hometown of Cardiff, setting up a Architectural practice in Pontcanna. Between 2007 and 2012, Glen worked at Chris Loyn Architects in Penarth, where he was the lead designer of 'The Outhouse', a multi-award winning sustainable house, in the Forest Of Dean. This passive house, built for 2 artists, won the RIBA House of the Year in 2016.
In 2015, Glen's practice relocated to Penylan, where the practice is now based.
Glens work has been published in Internationally, including Wallpaper and Vogue.
Richard Wood - Manager
BA (Hons)
Richard graduated in 2003 from the prestigious Magnum founded Documentary Photography Degree at Newport University.
He went on to tour with international acts such as Oasis, The Libertines, Iggy Pop, Gary Newman and The Good The Bad And The Queen.
Richard has been the resident Photographer at The Glee club since it’s opening night back in 2001, he has had the privilege to work with many of the world’s top comedy acts, such as Rich Hall, Jack Dee & Lee Evans. Photographing and designing posters and PR Material for use at various festivals around the world including Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal and New York.
Richard has been heavily involved with brand identity creation and the construction of high end websites.
Richard has been working with Glen Thomas Architecture for the last few years, undertaking a broad spectrum of roles from being part of the design team to project management.
Leigh Dickson - Structural Engineer
A highly motivated and respected structural engineer with 18 years experience in the construction industry. Proprietor and Managing Director of Dickson Consulting Structural Engineering with a particular focus on providing fluid and dynamic structural solutions for residential/commercial and public sectors. A skilled leader with high level planning experience and the utmost understanding of working to budgets and timelines. Excellent communicator both verbally and visually with the ability to inspire colleagues to strive for the ultimate level of professionalism.
